Last Friday, we completed the first seminar in our professional training series, "The Latest Advancements in Sports Rehab". During the 2 day seminar, clinicians traveled from all over the country to discover how we help our clients with lumbar disc and joint disease. Here is what they had to say:
“Personally, this course was a great experience. Sports Center’s
staff was very positive, motivating, and informative! Professionally, I
feel this course showed me a new way to help my clients heal and
improve their quality of life. I would describe this workshop as a core
stabilization program focused on movement and unloading activities (and
stickiness).”
Jennifer Little, PT
(clinician rating of course experience on 0-5 star scale)
“Personally, I now realize that there’s a way out of the
frustration. Professionally, it feels better knowing I have a definite
measureable way to help my clients if they choose to win. This seminar will
change your life by changing your perspective.”
Mark Tate, PT
“This course will help you develop more of a focused and systematic approach to all patients, including simplification of processes and progression strategies. Personally this course equals confirmation. Priceless — a must for your survival as a therapist in
today’s world.”
Kim Wright, PT
“Doug, Christine, and Ryan— a great workshop! Handouts were top
notch, excellent organization, presentations were interesting and
completely relevant. I felt respected and included. Most current
information on spinal rehab. Great lectures. Good environment. Thorough
without feeling rushed."
May Latson, L.Ac.
“Personally I discovered my own weaknesses and how to begin addressing them. Professionally, the applications in working with clients are limitless. Very unique and informative but based on sound priciples.”
Greg Argabright, PT
“Your company and associates have been terrific at making me feel welcome and comfortable. I have not been to a course (about treating patients) in the last 11 years that was as informative. Even though I don’t directly work with back patients, I know more about how to assist the PT. A world of truth always works. I will tell all the OT’s I know how valuable this class would be for them.”
Peggy Hight, OTR
“A great learning experience. A way to look at the ‘whole’ person. Treatment techniques that are exciting, fun and changing. Super!”
Susan Schwertner, PT
“It has definitely made me think about where I am working and if I want to be more ‘free’ to treat how I want without insurance restrictions. It has also definitely caught me back up to speed on lumbar anatomy and given me a different approach to treatment. Simplifies back treatment, gives you insight into making the patient responsible. Makes you question why you are treating patients without really knowing what you are looking for.”
Kelly Chance, PT
“Professionally, these courses bring me back to what I know to be correct and the best to do. Personally it gave me some insight to help with other matters in my life. Forget everything you think you know about low back pain and lumbar dysfunction and be ready to handle the truth.”
Tony LaSorsa, PT
“Good class— caused me to review how I treat my lumbar spine patients. Great overview of consultation/interview/evaluation. Great ideas, demonstration, and rationale for drills for patients. This course will shange your thinking, understand a different method, use of functional tools, and remove or reshape the ‘cloud’ between DDD, DJD, and HNP. Very useful class— will help to keep me out of treating with patterns of care.”
